Directions to St. Joseph Cemetery
From St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Kittanning
1. Continue north on North Water Street past the church for one block.
2. Turn right onto Union Avenue (tennis courts to your right).
3. Go four blocks on Union Avenue (four stop signs) to Johnson Avenue.
4. Cross over Johnson Avenue and bear to the right up Troy Hill Road.
5. Continue up Troy Hill Road (Kittanning Cemetery will be to your left).
6. St. Joseph Cemetery is located at the crest of Troy Hill Road on the right side of the road. (across from Gruskin Road which is to the left).
Use caution when turning into or out of the cemetery. Location is on top of a steep hill and visibility of traffic from either direction is limited.
From Butler: Traveling on US 422 East/Benjamin Franklin Highway
1. Travel east staying on US 422 East past the PA 268 (West Kittanning), PA 28 South (Pittsburgh), PA 66 South (Ford City), and the 422 Business (Kittanning) exits.
2. Continue on the expressway not taking the exit for US 422 East (Indiana).
3. Rather continue on the PA 28 North/PA 66 North expressway towards New Bethlehem for 1.5 miles.
4. As the expressway ends at the bottom of the hill, stay in the left lane for PA 28 North/PA 66 North towards New Bethlehem.
5. At the end of the expressway, in the left hand lane, travel only approximately 1/10 mile straight through the traffic light on PA 28 North/PA 66 North.
6. Turn left (at the Gulf Gas Station) onto State Route 1036/Troy Hill Road (across from the entrance to the Armstrong County Jail).
7. Continue to follow Troy Hill Road about 1.5 miles.
8. St. Joseph Cemetery is located at the crest of Troy Hill Road on the left side of the road. (across from Gruskin Road which is to the right).

From Indiana: Traveling US 422 West/Benjamin Franklin Highway toward Kittanning
1. Merge onto PA 28 North/PA 66 North via the ramp toward New Bethlehem.
2. Continue on PA 28 North/PA-66 North for approximately 1.5 miles.
3. As the expressway ends at the bottom of the hill, stay in the left lane for PA 28 North/PA 66 North toward New Bethlehem.
4. At the end of the expressway, in the left hand lane, travel only approximately 1/10 mile straight thru the traffic light on PA 28 North/PA 66 North.

3. Continue on the expressway not taking the exit for US 422 East (Indiana).
