Faith Formation
Kindergarten through Eighth Grade
Our parish offers a faith formation program to children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., during the school year.
Our parish is blessed to have adults that are trained as catechists who, under the direction of James Gaggini, coordinator of Faith Formation, help parents with the important responsibility of providing faith formation to their child in Catholic faith.
Our parish considers parents important partners in the faith formation program. We must work together to pass on our Catholic faith to the next generation.
Registration
Parents with children in kindergarten through eighth grade receive all the necessary information about our parish faith formation program along with registration form by mail during the month of August of each year. All parents are expected to register their children for our parish faith formation program and make attending classes a priority in their family’s schedule.

Youth Ministry
All teens in ninth through twelfth grade have an open invitation to join us! There is no need to “sign up,” instead just show up when you can! The more the merrier, so bring a friend!
Our youth ministry gatherings take place on selected Sundays of the month from September through May on Sunday mornings from 10:15 a.m., to 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the St. Mary Parish Hall.
The goal of youth ministry is to have fun while learning about our faith, serving those in need, and developing lasting friendships.
We want this to be an interactive experience for everyone, but it can’t be if you are not there! We hope you will join us!
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Children’s Liturgy of the Word for children in kindergarten through fifth grade takes place in our parish weekly during the school year on Sundays during the 9:00 a.m. Mass.
The children are invited by father after the opening prayer to come forward and follow the weekly Leader to a room where they will hear the Sunday readings from the Children’s Liturgical Lectionary in words they can understand.
During this time, they are also lead through prayer and songs. They return to the congregation during the offertory time.
All children in kindergarten through fifth grade are encouraged to attend!
