Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

Got life questions? Looking for peace? Needing hope? If you (or someone you know) would like to hear more about Jesus, we invite you to contact Katie Tylinski at 724-212-6740 for information regarding the inquiry process. During the inquiry process you do not assume a commitment.

Those who have not been baptized into any faith denomination, those who have been baptized into a non-Catholic faith denomination, or those who are baptized Catholics contemplating also receiving the sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation, are invited.

The inquiry process is designated for those who wish to inquire, explore, and search for ways to grow in their relationship with God. Inquirers are invited to attend inquiry sessions until they make a decision to become a fully initiated member of the Roman Catholic faith. Next, they are then invited to enter the process called the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), formerly known as RCIA. This process will lead to their reception of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism (for those who have not been baptized), Confirmation and Eucharist. We will begin OCIA sessions in the Fall.
