Are you …
V A Catholic who is new to the Kittanning area?
V A Catholic who has been worshipping with us for some time, but have never officially registered?
V A Catholic who is returning to the practice of your faith?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish welcomes you and invites you to become a registered member of our parish. You will be joining a vibrant Roman Catholic parish community of approximately 800 families that offers a wide range of opportunities to learn, grow, give and celebrate our Catholic faith.
If you are not Catholic, but would like to explore the possibility of becoming Catholic, please contact us, visit our parish office, or learn more about becoming a Catholic in the Diocese of Greesburg.
By registering in our parish you assure that our parish can better serve your spiritual, sacramental and religious educational needs. Registered members of our parish enjoy the benefit of receiving important information about our parish life, and a copy of our bi-weekly diocesan newspaper, The Catholic Accent, mailed directly to your home.
Parish registration is also important when you are asked to provide a letter of sponsor eligibility for baptism or confirmation.
Members of our parish enjoy worshipping together each weekend around the altar of God’s word and the altar of the sacrifice. Many members even choose to actively participate in various liturgical ministries, religious education ministries or parish organizations of our parish.
All members are asked to make regular contributions in support of our parish and other outreach ministries of our Catholic Church. Such support is in proportion to the earthly treasure God has entrusted to our care.
