St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Lenten Schedule

 

Lent is a time we are called to conversion of our hearts through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. It is time to be reconciled, a time to return to God with all our hearts. To spiritually prepare for the celebration of Easter, you are encouraged to join our parish on our Lenten journey.

Fridays of Lent at 12:05 p.m.

 

 

Parish Lenten Mission

 

Father Ronald Simboli, pastor of St. Joseph Church, Uniontown, will lead a Lenten Mission for our parish. He will begin our Parish Lenten Mission on the first weekend of Lent by preaching at both Weekend Masses on February 16 and 17. The mission will continue each evening, Sunday, February 17 through Thursday, February 21, from 7 to 8 PM in the church. Please join Father Simboli as he guides us along our Lenten journey.

 

 

Rediscover Catholicism: Guided Study Program of the Book by Matthew Kelly

 

4 Sundays in Lent – February 24, March 3, March 10 & March 17

10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at St. Mary Parish Hall, Kittanning

 

This Guided Study Program offered this Lent in our parish is based on the book written by Matthew Kelly “Rediscover Catholicism: A Spiritual Guide to Living with Passion and Purpose. ” The program is a wonderful opportunity to revitalize your faith, renew your relationship with God, and deepen your understanding and appreciation of our Catholic faith.

The sessions will last approximately one hour. The program will be presented and guided by Catholic Men’s Fellowship Group and a continental breakfast will be served by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Patricia.
 

Lenten Reconciliation

To spiritually prepare for the celebration of Easter, you are encouraged to celebrate God’s forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In addition to our regularly scheduled confessions on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 until 3:30 PM, the Regional Lenten Penance Services listed below offer wonderful opportunity for receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation before Easter.
